Annie and Bowen Wedding | Cleveland Dam | Watermark Vancouver

When I first met Annie and Bowen, the word that comes to mind is “NICE.” Although… I think it would be more accurate to say that they are very, very, very nice people. We were more than happy to provide guidance on their photography and videography needs. We covered a lot of ground on that day for sure but this is where having an experienced and awesome planner pays off! From getting ready in Burnaby/Vancouver to their lovely outdoor ceremony at the Cleveland Dam in North Vancouver and then to Watermark Venue in Vancouver, the day was a blur of fun! Bob’s (Bowen’s) groomsmen were super helpful and gentlemanly all day, and of course, Annie’s bridesmaids/sisters were just as lovely. It’s just extra fun when we get the banter going early on in the day and continue it through the fun of the rest of the day. I love it when they hire awesome wedding industry pros as well because you know that all aspects of their very important day would be taken care of! 🙂 A big re-congratulations to Annie and Bowen!

"They are right. Your wedding day goes by in a flash: so many details go fuzzy amidst the sensory overload-- all of your DIY handiwork and months of planning finished, in what feels like the shortest day of my life. Thank goodness for Butter Weddings who captured the moments of our wedding day that my eyes could not. They were the best. Showing up ahead of time, quickly staging flowers and arranging our bridal party and family. Finding the right moment to pull us away to capture the best light of the day. Effortlessly moving through all of our guests at a photo booth receiving line- best idea ever, by the way! No, seriously, I can't think of one thing that I would want them to do differently, except for find a magical time machine that would let us do it all over again! From our engagement shoot the month after Peter popped the question where Gina and Chris helped us stage an outdoor living room at the waters edge, to staging and preserving every little detail of our wedding day, they captured our memories like the pros that they are. I could not be happier with our pictures. Chris and Gina, thank you. I know you can't see my tears of joy right now as I write this, but they are there and they are real. You made me the happiest bride. xo"
